Lip Scrub:
Question: Is this an organic lip scrub?
Answer: This lip scrub is not certified organic. However, we do use organic ingredients whenever available. Our lip scrubs include organic sugar, spearmint and peppermint essential oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, beeswax, and more.
Question: Why use a lip scrub?
Answer: The top layer of your lips can easily become dry and chapped from exposure to sun and the elements. Not only can this be uncomfortable, it also leaves you with an uneven surface to apply lip color – not attractive. Lip scrubs gently exfoliate away dead and uneven skin, revealing lips that are soft and smooth. Bonus benefit – exfoliated lips allow hydrating products to penetrate more deeply, helping to keep them even healthier.
Question: Is this a hydrating lip scrub?
Answer: Yes! We’ve included some of our favorite hydrating ingredients in our lip scrubs, including jojoba oil and coconut oil.
Question: What do you put in your scrub?
Answer: Just the good stuff, we promise. Here’s the full list: sugar, spearmint essential oil, peppermint essential oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, beeswax, coconut oil, vitamin E, rosemary leaf extract, calendula flower extract, and stevia leaf extract.
Question: What flavors of lip scrub do you offer?
Answer: Berry, mint, and vanilla. Can’t decide which sounds best? Check out our gift set for all three!
Question: How do I use your scrub to get smooth lips?
Answer: We recommend applying a small amount of scrub to clean, dry lips. Gently massage it in using your fingertips. Let it sit for a minute or two, then wipe away with a damp washcloth.
Question: Is this scrub safe for people with allergies?
Answer: It depends on what you’re allergic to. We do our best to choose ingredients that are friendly to all skin types. If you do have allergies, read through the ingredients list before using.
Question: How often should I use your lip scrub?
Answer: Use once or twice a week to keep your lips at their best.
Question: Help! I accidentally swallowed some of your lip scrub!
Answer: Oooh, we hope it tasted good! But seriously – don’t worry if you swallow a little bit of scrub. While you probably wouldn’t want to eat the whole jar, there’s nothing in our scrub that is toxic or harmful if ingested.
Lip Balm:
Question: Do you make organic lip balm?
Answer: Our lip balms are not certified organic. However, we use organic ingredients whenever they are available and never, ever include phthalates, parabens, sulfates, artificial flavors or fragrances, or any other junk that you don’t want and don’t need.
Question: Are these non-GMO lip balms?
Answer: They are! We don’t let GMO products anywhere near our natural lip balms.
Question: Are these flavored lip balms?
Answer: Mmmmmm, yes. We figure if you’re going to make lip balm, you might as well make it delicious. Right now we offer our peppermint lip balm, as well as honey & vanilla bean, asian pear, green tea, pomegranate, and acai berry. And for those of you who prefer no flavor, well we offer that too.
Question: Are these beeswax lip balms?
Answer: They are! Beeswax is our go-to ingredient for keeping lips smooth, supple, and moisturized. No petroleum here.
Question: Are these moisturizing lip balms?
Answer: Absolutely! Beeswax is the heavyweight champ when it comes to locking in moisture on your lips. We back it up with sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, castor seed oil, and aloe vera for extra nourishment and moisturizing power.
Question: How many tubes of lip balm come in one package?
Answer: Depends! You can get four-packs of our peppermint, honey & vanilla, and refreshing fruit flavored balms. If you really want to treat someone special (like yourself), you can also pick up a gift pack with 12 assorted flavors.
Question: How often should I use beeswax lip balm?
A: Twice a day is a great place to start – once in the morning and once in the evening. Unlike other brands, we formulate our balms so you’re not having to constantly reapply. Of course, if you want to take an extra swipe for some of that sweet, sweet lip balm flavor, we’re not going to stop you.
Question: How does this balm compare with Burt’s Bees Lip Balm?
Answer: Well, there are some similarities. Both use beeswax and other natural ingredients. However, Burt also puts soybean oil in his balms, so if you have a soy allergy (or are just trying to stay away from it), you’ll need to use another brand. Lots of reviewers also say that you have to reapply Burt’s much more often than ours.
Question: How does this balm compare with EOS Lip Balm?
Answer: We’ll give it to EOS: they have a nifty little container and they don’t use any potentially problematic ingredients. Which is good, because you have to reapply this balm a lot. Like, a lot a lot. Check out the reviews if you don’t believe us.
Question: Where can I read more lip balm reviews?
Answer: Head to our Amazon review page for all the lip balm feedback your heart desires.
