I have never used self tanner before so I have no comparison, but this is great. I was going on a girls trip and wanted to give some color to my white legs. This worked wonderfully. I was concerned about not being able to put on moisturizer afterwards but my skin did not dry out. It also is EWG verified for not having harmful chemicals. The scent I gave 4 stars because it smells great going on, but towards the end of the day, my skin starts to smell like I've had sunscreen on all day. Not horrible, but not the best. In my opinion though, it's worth it.

I LOVE this self tanner!!! It is streak free, super bendable, easy to apply, and gives the perfect shade that is buildable! The product is coconut scented and not over powering. I was able to put clothes on and go to bed without any transfers or streaking. The product is a mousse, so it is very user friendly and easy to apply. It is a clear mousse, so you do not have to wait to wash off. I got the medium-dark shade, and it was a perfect match to what my natural sun tan looks like. This tan goes on clear which made me so nervous cause I couldn’t see if it was streaky, but to my surprise it was not streaky at all!! It’s also less orange and more natural than other tans because there’s no dyes! It smells good going on then smells like regular self tan after awhile. I’d def recommend! first, I want to say this is a beautiful natural tan. I'm a bit pale in the cooler months and this looks like my natural tan I get in the summer. the color is warm but not orange.

How does this tanner give me a tan without dyes?
The active ingredient in our self tanners is DHA, a sugar derivative that gives the top layer of the skin a bronzed glow. Non-GMO and overflowing with plant-based goodness.
Depending on which formula you choose, you'll find DHA backed up by powerful natural ingredients such as organic aloe vera leaf juice (for luscious hydration), organic shea butter (for maximum moisturization), and organic pomegranate and cranberry extract (because who doesn’t love a bit of fruitiness in their self tanner?).

How do I use it?
To self tan with a clean, dye-free tanner, follow these simple steps:
Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells for an even application.
Dry Your Skin: Ensure your skin is completely dry before applying the tanner.
Apply Evenly: Use the tanner sparingly, applying it in a circular motion for even coverage.
Blend at Joints: Pay extra attention to your knees, elbows, and ankles, blending well in these areas.
Let it Dry: Allow the tanner to dry completely before dressing to ensure a perfect, streak-free tan.
Moisturize: To maintain your tan, keep your skin hydrated and avoid exfoliants or drying products.
What shade of tan will this give?
These tanners are buildable, meaning for most people, the first application will give you a light tan. If you desire a darker tan, simply reapply it again the following day and so on until you reach the desired color. Once you have the color you were after, simply reapply every 4-5 days to maintain the tan. Be sure to wait about 5-8 hours before going in water after applying for optimal results! 🌟
Which formula should I choose? Fair to Medium or Medium to Dark?
The Fair to Medium self tanners are perfect for people with pink or cool undertones, fair skin, or those looking for a very subtle tan. Not sure if this is you? You will likely want this formula if you burn easily, freckle, or see blue or purple tinted veins when you look at the underside of your wrist.
The Medium to Dark self tanners are perfect for those with neutral, olive, or warm undertones or people looking for a deeper tan. If you tan really easily or if your veins are greenish or invisible when you look at the underside of your wrist, this is likely the formula for you.
As always our dye free self tanners can be used by any skin tone, you’ll just need to pick your level of tan and which version works best with your gorgeous undertones to create your ideal tan!

How do I extend the life of my self tan?
Prep Time: Exfoliate and moisturize before applying self-tanner for an even glow.
Skip Hot Water: Avoid long hot showers and baths to prevent your tan from fading.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin and tan looking great.
Moisturize Regularly: Use a good moisturizer (but not oil-based) to keep your skin happy and your tan intact.
Be Careful with Products: Steer clear of exfoliants and products with salicylic acid to protect your tan.
