Yes, it is certified 75% or more organic ingredients (ours are closer to 85%). We try to use organic ingredients whenever they are available, our shaving soap bar no exception. It contains organic coconut oil, organic shea butter, and organic cocoa butter as well as organic essential oils.

It is! Like all of our products, this bar doesn’t contain parabens, phthalates, sulfates, artificial colors or fragrances, or any other toxic ingredient.

This bar is lightly scented with lavender, lemongrass, patchouli, and cedarwood oil. The result is a light, gender neutral scent.

A shaving brush is not strictly necessary to get a lather out of our shaving soap. However, you may find that a shaving brush helps you achieve a richer lather more easily than using your hands, so we do recommend using one.

Shaving creams will give you a thick lather without much effort, but they’ll clog up your razor very easily. Shaving soaps, on the other hand, give your razor a nice slick surface to work with, saving you from irritation. And we wont talk about the ingredients in most shaving creams – not great!

Absolutely! The gentle, natural and organic ingredients in our soap are perfect for any skin type. However, it’s always a good idea to test out a new product on a small area before applying to a larger one.

It may! Lubrication (or a lack thereof) is a huge part of razor burn. Our soap provides lubrication, as well as ingredients that soothe irritated skin. When combined with a good razor and an effective shaving technique, you’ll likely see much less shaving irritation.
