We’re glad you asked! Face serums are a lightweight type of moisturizer. Because they tend to leave out heavier ingredients, they penetrate deeper into your skin. This lets them deliver higher concentrations of nutrients and makes them a highly restorative part of your skincare routine.

Great question! Vitamin C should NOT be combined with our Bakuchiol line, as that line also contains niacinimide which does not mix well with Vitamin C. However, our Hyaluronic Acid line can be used with this serum along with any of our other skincare products.

Great question!  The Vitamin C Serum does contain Hyaluronic Acid among other powerful antioxidant rich ingredients. It is best used for it's ability to brighten, tone, protect the skin against free radicals while also helping to lighten dark spots. 
The Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a simple, unscented, Hyaluronic Acid serum.  It can be used by anyone, even the most sensitive skin.  Its a soothing, skin plumping serum.  This goes for all HA products.  Some people prefer a serum with only hyaluronic acid.  The HA serum is made SUPER gentle so anyone can use it. 

We recommend using Toner, followed by Vitamin C Serum, and then any other products layered on top as normal.

ie: Face Wash, Toner, Vit. C Serum, Facial Cream, and then Facial Oil & SPF

Yes! You would wash your face, apply your toner if you'd like, apply the Vitamin C serum, and then layer your other serums on top of it. In other words, Vitamin C will always go first! 

Please do not mix Vitamin C with our Bakuchiol Serum.

Absolutely! All of the organic ingredients included in our serum are safe and non-irritating. However, we always recommend testing out a new product on a small area of skin before using more generally.

We recommend pairing our serum with a facial cleanser, a facial toner, a Hyaluronic Acid Serum, and a facial moisturizer with SPF.

A good rule of thumb is to start with the most lightweight product and work your way up to the heaviest. Start by washing your face with a cleanser, then use a toner. Apply your serum next, then follow up with a moisturizer.

We use clean, effective ingredients that add hydration and nourish the skin instead of stripping it – we promise. We do recommend patch testing always, as skincare is never one size fits all. Always start small and build your way up when integrating new products into your routine!

Although many Vitamin C products can cause a stinging or an itchy effect to the skin, our HyperActive Anti-Aging® Vitamin C toner is different. We formulated this toner to be gentle on all skin types, while delivering real results. If you want to be on the safe side, we recommend patch testing it to a small area of the skin on your first use.

Vitamin C causing sunsensitivity is a very common myth. While it's no replacement for sunscreen, Vitamin C actually offers a wonderful boost to your skin's protective barriers against polution, collagen loss, free radicals, and sun damage. That's probably why this powerful ingreadient was often paired with sunscreens when first introduced in skincare products.
