Italian/Puerto Rican here— I have very thick, long hair past my hips, & have been looking for a 100% pure organic boar brush that isn’t $100+ dollars. This is IT!!! I am not impressed. As soon as I received it, I brushed my hair once and cleaned it out and the bar bristles began to fall and they’re still falling how disappointing. How truly disappointing they market a product with so much hope and like it’s gonna be wonderful in an all reality it’s garbage. All the marketing should be focused more on the quality of the product instead of just selling for a quick sale.

It had such a strong smell straight out the box of I don’t even know what, definitely a BOAR bristle brush. It was an okay brush but I could never really go near it because I have a really sensitive nose. I bet it would’ve been awesome, the smell just has to dwindle a lot more before I can use it. Maybe I had to wash it or something.
The boar bristles undergo a burning process in order to remove any “split ends”. And being organic, that smell is very specific and strong. Normally the manufacturer has to aerate such products at least 1 week before shipping out.
We have asked our manufacturer to let it air out a little longer on the next PO.

I have pretty straight hair that is rather long and thick. As such, I really wanted to use a boar bristle brush to help distribute oils all down my hair. However, when I got the brush out of the package, it smelled really strongly of chemicals, and continued to do so several days after I took it out of the box. I tried using it and I found the bristles were too short and clustered together to comb through my hair really well. I sectioned off my hair and started in parts, brushing a few inches at a time, but it didn't feel like it was combing my hair at all, only gliding over it. Disappointing overall.
It does not tangle my hair I like the other one better but I am grateful for this one it makes hair a bit shinner

Great hair brush
This brush is awesome for smoothing those crown flyaways! I use it as a finishing brush. The paddle version is perfect for detangling.
So helpful for keeping the hair clean
I was excited to finally have a boar bristle brush for my silky hair journey. The only problem is the bristles are so soft they only touch the surface and only part of the way. Oh boy the static. I’ve been thinking about returning it ..
This brush glides through my hair and brushed out my tangles pretty well. It has a good quality, bamboo handle, which fits nicely in my hand. I didn’t experience any pulling of my hair, which is always a plus.
This one is my Daughter's favorite brush! She has fine hair and other brushes pulls and hurt her head, but this one leaves her hair tangle free with no pain. It also leaves it soft.
