I was super excited to try the drops because your able to use your own lotion/moisturizer, and I'm super picky when it comes to lotion. Unfortunately, for whatever reason it did not work for me. It smells amazing and it mixes well, I really wish it would have worked for me, I hate having to tan and continuing to ruin my 40 year old skin. 😉

I bought the drops and the mist. Love the mist but the drops are horrible! I’m blotchy and orange! Very disappointed in the drops.

Added this to my skincare regimen and so glad I did. I have sensitive skin that easily breaks out with a lot on these tanning drops. This stuff works to give a natural glow when added to your moisturizer. I USUALLY do this at night because it does have a sort of sticky feeling + it gives it time to process. However when in a bind I have done it during the day and just put some powder over it and it’s not noticeable!!!

I normally don’t write reviews for a lot of the products I buy, but this is one worth reviewing. I am on a never-ending quest to find the clean, safest, nontoxic health and beauty products. This is hands-down, the best self tanner I have ever used. As a highly sensitive person with multiple chemical sensitivity most self tanners make me feel very very ill. I had zero reactions with this self tanner. You just add a few drops to your lotion and it creates the most beautiful natural color with no harmful side effects or toxicity feeling. I will order this product again and again and again. So happy I found this and highly recommend this product to everyone, but especially for people who have multiple chemical sensitivity and want a little natural color on their skin.

Im very pale (freckles, reddish blonde) and this tanner (I bought ‘light’) works very well and looks very natural. I tried Lux Tan after reading those product reviews on the quality of color (which was very good) but the smell was overwhelming and gave me headaches. This tanner barely smells at all and Ive been very pleased with results when I mix it with my usual moisturizer. It has not rubbed off on my clothes that Ive noticed, but I do give at least 15 min before getting dressed and Im mindful about what I put on after applying (no skinny white straps etc). It doesn’t last long but I dont mind applying it for above reasons so this is not a big deal to me. I use this sort of like jergens daily glow, except this one has almost no smell and there’s nothing in it which irritates my sensitive skin. I apply it in the morning.

After using the self tanner drops and the face self tanner lotion for a little over a week I can definitely say they are well formulated products. I actually use the lotion on my legs and it works amazingly. The smell of the lotion is like a sugar cookie at first and after a couple hours only gives off a slight self tanner smell, nothing terrible. The drops seem to smell stronger after a while that could just be because it’s on my face. Either way, I wear it overnight and wash it off in the morning so it doesn’t matter. Both give a natural bronze, but my skin is already olive toned so it will depend on your base color of course. I don’t have any before photos but I think these photos from the gym do the lotion product justice.
I tan easily but my face never gets as tan as my arms and chest. I apply 3-5 drops mixed in with my day moisturizer on my face and neck and gives me a perfect sun kissed tan. I use it every other day. highly recommend!
